06 DAY CHIMPANZEE EXPERIENCE

Day 1
Drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale Forest National park is the home of Chimpanzees in addition to other 12 primate species like the red-tail monkey, blue monkey, and black-and-white colobus monkeys, among others. Accommodation: Ataco Country Resort (2 nights). Bed & Breakfast

Day 2
The Chimpanzee experience awaits you early in the morning. Though living in the wild, some chimpanzee families have been habituated, making them get used to humans. A ranger will take you through this wonderful tracking experience in the forest. The afternoon Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Experience is full of primates, birds and plant life.

Day 3
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon, you will explore the natural beauty of Kyambura Gorge. A river that goes through this gorge is the reason for the existence of the forest that allows a community of chimpanzees to live there. A ranger will undertake with you a walk through a certain section of this gorge. Accommodation: Bush Lodge (2 nights). Bed & Breakfast

Day 4
Wake up early in the morning for a game drive to view Uganda cobs, elephants, lions and leopards (based on luck), hippos, buffaloes, warthogs and different bird species. The afternoon boat ride on Kazinga Channel is among the highlights of this trip with its different bird species, crocodiles, buffaloes, and waterbucks, elephants coming to assuage their thirst, schools of hippos and a village of fishermen at the park boundary.

Day 5
On this day, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park for a night there. Accommodation: Rwakobo Rock. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6
The early morning nature walk awaits you before you continue to Kampala. Here, you will experience nature and wildlife on foot with a ranger. Imagine observing animals without noise from the car engine! Don’t forget to have a stopover at the Equator for a water experiment, taking pictures, and shopping.

05 DAY GORILLA EXPERIENCE

Day 1
Drive to Lake Mburo national park, one of the smallest national parks in Uganda. This is where you will see big herds of plains Zebras and Impalas. The rare and shy Elands live in this park. Bushbucks can be seen standing majestically on termite moulds. You will also get another chance to see the Rothschild’s giraffes introduced from Murchison Falls National Park. Accommodation: Rwakobo Rock. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 2
The early morning nature walk awaits you before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Here, you will experience nature and wildlife on foot with a ranger. Imagine observing animals without noise from the car engine! Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp (2nights). Bed & Breakfast

Day 3
The Gorilla experience day is here. After breakfast, you are briefed on how to behave when with the Gorillas by a ranger. Dressed properly with hiking shoes, you set off with a ranger to the place where the trackers have located the amazing apes. You can also hire a porter at a small fee to help carrying your rucksack for ease of movement. Meeting the Gorillas is an amazing experience. Since we are all different, our reactions will also vary. But trust me; it is a wonderful one hour experience. Depending on your condition after Gorilla trekking, you can as well go for a village walk to meet the traditional healer, see how banana brewing is done, coffee harvesting, a school and how pygmies leaved long time ago in the forest.

Day 4
Drive to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale viewing a beautiful landscape and making it worthwhile to make many stops for pictures. This place is called the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ because of its idyllic hills. The lake, with its 29 Islands, is said to be the second deepest in Africa. A boat ride around some of these Islands is worth the experience. See how people use canoes for transport from one Island to another. Accommodation: Bird's Nest Resort. Bed & Breakfast

Day 5
Drive back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator

03 DAY SAFARI EXPERIENCE (Murchison falls national park)

Day 1
Drive to Murchison Falls national park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino experience. These are white Rhinos and can be seen in a short distance on foot with a ranger. You will reach the park in the evening. Accommodation: Murchison River Lodge (2 nights). Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 2
Wake up for an early morning game drive to view wild life. View the Rothschild’s giraffes, series of antelopes including the Uganda Cobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, warthogs, hyenas, to mention but a few. The afternoon boat ride to the gigantic Murchison falls also includes the experience of a short nature walk to the top of the same falls.

Day 3
After breakfast, you drive back to Kampala
