Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe / Kampala

  • Pickup from Entebbe International Airport
  • Transfer to hotel, safari briefing, and overnight stay

Day 2: Kampala → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary → Murchison Falls

  • Drive north with stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking
  • Continue to Murchison Falls NP, check in at lodge

Day 3: Murchison Falls NP – Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari

  • Morning game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes
  • Afternoon boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls
  • Optional hike to the top of the falls

Day 4: Murchison Falls → Kibale Forest

  • Scenic drive through rolling landscapes and villages
  • Arrive at Kibale, home of chimpanzees

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

  • Morning chimp trekking with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers
  • Afternoon nature walk in Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary for birds and primates

Day 6: Kibale → Queen Elizabeth NP

  • Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
  • Evening game drive through the savanna plains

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth NP – Game Drive & Boat Cruise

  • Morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains (look for lions, elephants, buffaloes)
  • Afternoon Kazinga Channel boat safari with hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  • Drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions
  • Overnight stay near Bwindi

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

  • Early briefing and gorilla trekking adventure (2–6 hours)
  • Spend 1 hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat
  • Return to lodge for relaxation

Day 10: Bwindi → Lake Mburo National Park

  • Drive to Lake Mburo NP

Day 11: Lake Mburo → Kampala / Entebbe Departure
